To support a good balance between demands of work and family life and to promote diversity at the institute, diverse services and measures are being developed at DIPF. Therefore, DIPF is certified by the audit “berufundfamilie +vielfalt“.
The DIPF is committed to promoting gender equality and dealing sensitively with issues of family development, different phases of life and diversity. It provides a working environment that considers the different circumstances and challenges faced by employees, provides equal opportunities and counteracts discrimination.
For its dedication in this area, DIPF was certified with the audit “berufundfamilie” (family and work) as early as 2010, taking a leading role among science institutions in Germany. The audit is bound by an agreement on certain objectives which are reviewed every three years. In 2024, the DIPF was certified with the "berufundfamilie +vielfalt" audit, which also focuses on promoting diversity at the institute.
