Three areas of tasks are served by the communications office: public relations, internal reporting and reporting to the governing board.

Tasks

The communications office positions the institute in various public spheres by target group specific communication. It supports projects through targeted press and public relations work and prepares the institute's products for the media. It mediates between external requirements and internal offerings. The service centre plans and organises events, manages performance documentation and co-ordinates audits and evaluations of the institute within the executive board office. The team is also responsible for internal communications and works continuously to develop the institute's internal and external image. The department is also responsible for supporting and organising the work of the executive board and the scientific boards.
