Finance & Controlling
The finance unit is responsible for accounting and distributing external funding. It is in charge of controlling and reporting as well as commissioning respectively handling procurement and travel expenses.
The controlling unit holds responsible for the annual balance sheet (where-used-list) and all tax-related matters. Controlling is in charge of short-term and mid-term financial planning and the budget, and is responsible for reporting. Human resources controlling (together with the Human Resources/Organisation unit) is also a part of controlling. Controlling of external funding also involves advisory services for researchers, financial calculation and assessment of external funding proposals.
Central Services
The Central Services department at DIPF provides general services to staff working at the Institute.
