The „Literature Information Systems“ unit prepares specialised information services for the Education Research Portal.
About
In the ‘Literature Information Systems’ unit, the diverse range of specialised information is prepared and made accessible for the Education Research Portal. Furthermore, infrastructure services for literature information are operated, researched and further developed with a focus on Open Science. This includes the coordination of the German Education Index with the DIPF's internal Information and Documentation (IuD), the open access server peDOCS, the Specialised Information Service Education and the monitoring of educational research in the form of systematic searches and scientometric studies.

The Information Centre for Education (IZB) at DIPF is the central institution for research and information infrastructures in education in Germany. The Centre moreover organises research and transfer of findings and links actors in education.
