DIPF defines knowledge transfer as a dialogue-oriented exchange among scientific and practical insights between educational research and educational information, practice, politics and the public at large. As a cross-sectional objective, knowledge transfer is essential for improving the quality of education and developing innovative solutions to challenges in the field of education. DIPF views knowledge transfer in a comprehensive sense and strives for exchange-oriented, cooperative and multidirectional approaches. Through dialogue with educational practitioners, researchers, administrators and politicians in the field of education as well as with the public interested in education the institute promotes:

  • mutual recognition of different logics of thought and action
  • common goals and values for educational issues
Identification of potential for evidence-based practice and its co-constructive development
  • empirically grounded results and innovative offers for specific target groups
