The communication and transfer project was implemented as part of the Year of Science 2022 and was designed to provide a platform for students to be heard, to connect with researchers and to think about future learning, ask questions and generate ideas beyond current boundaries and possibilities.

This project gave the enorM team the opportunity to develop and test different exchange formats. First results were published during the project and presented to scientific experts, practitioners, foundations and politicians. A goal of the Science Year 2022 and a frequently asked question by the students involved in the project – was also achieved or positively answered, namely to feed back the results to politicians and to make the students' ideas visible:

»In October 2023, we presented the results of enorM to the Standing Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs (KMK) as well as to foundations and discussed them in depth in roundtable discussions.«

We also presented the results at academic conferences and published two articles in edited volumes and conference proceedings. We were invited to give several inputs and to speak to and with educational practitioners and those interested in education: at the “Backstage Bildung” webtalk, at the annual conference of “Bildung und Begabung” and at the Institute for Educational Analyses Baden-Württemberg. We also held two workshops at the Berlin Headmasters' Conference 2022, with headmasters and senior teachers, and at the EMSE Conference 2023, which was mainly attended by education administrators. We are currently preparing a further publication that reflects this broad input from different perspectives.
